Blackpool 2-2 Walsall

Armand Gnanduillet's last-gasp strike rescued a draw for Blackpool and denied Walsall at Bloomfield Road.

Walsall opened the scoring midway through the first half thanks to Joe Edwards, who finished off a well-worked passing move by netting a composed finish from inside the penalty area.

Nathan Delfouneso then levelled for Blackpool after 37 minutes when he fired the ball home from the centre of the penalty area.

Walsall defender Jon Guthrie thought he had snatched all three points when he poked the ball home at the back post.

But there was to be another twist when Gnanduillet equalised for Blackpool in dramatic fashion, hammering the ball past the dive of Liam Roberts into the bottom corner, having been teed up by Dan Agyei.

The result leaves Blackpool just two points above the relegation zone, while Walsall are three places higher in 16th.
