Stangmore Park passed a lunchtime inspection but the Dungannon v Crusaders tie was later postponed

Both of Tuesday night's Northern Ireland League Cup semi-finals have been postponed because of snow and freezing grounds conditions.

Ballymena United's game against Cliftonville was called off after a pitch inspection at 12:30 GMT.

The decision to postponed the other match, between Dungannon Swifts and Crusaders, was announced around 15:15.

The NI Football League cited concerns about weather conditions and the safety of players, supporters and officials.

The semi-finals were scheduled for last month but were called off because of frozen pitches.

The League must now again find new dates for the matches, with the final scheduled to take place on 17 February.
