Guernsey FC have lost two of their last three matches

Guernsey FC boss Tony Vance conceded that his side were second best in their 3-1 loss at Walton Casuals.

Guernsey conceded two penalties in the first 10 minutes. Will Dennis saved the first before the second was scored.

Robbie Legg levelled after 28 minutes, but two goals in a six-minute spell soon after ended Guernsey's chances.

"They were physically stronger than us, were quicker than us, had better energy and managed to get the better decisions as well," Vance said.

The islanders finished the game with eight men after Ryan Zico-Black was sent off for the second successive game before Jamie Dodd and Thomas Dodds came off injured after all three substitutes had been used.

The loss left Guernsey FC in 20th place in Isthmian League Division One South.

"They were very good at putting us off our game and manipulating situations and managed to get it all game," Vance added.

"We didn't do enough to win the game, so they're worthy winners in that sense.

"It was certainly a game we could have done better in. It wasn't a game I was I fearful of, but circumstances dictated that it wasn't going to be the case."
