Mallik Wilks scored a 95th-minute equaliser for Accrington Stanley at Notts County, in a heated game that saw both sides finish with 10 men.
Jon Stead scored the only goal of an otherwise uneventful first half when he netted from the penalty spot after Seamus Conneely barged into him.
Jorge Grant doubled the hosts' lead, finishing off a flowing move with a crisp 20-yard drive.
Mark Hughes looped a volley in five minutes later to make it 2-1 before Stead hit the crossbar with a header.
Accrington's Mekhi McLeod had only been on the pitch for eight minutes when he was sent off for lunging into Ryan Yates in front of referee Carl Boyeson.
Yates, Grant and Terry Hawkridge all went close for Notts before Stanley's Ben Richards-Everton was stretchered off late on.
Notts County's Matt Tootle was then dismissed in the first of nine minutes of stoppage time at the end of the game for a second yellow card, before loanee Wilks scored on his debut to snatch a point.
