Barry Smith is returning to management at Bayview
East Fife have appointed former Dundee and Alloa Athletic boss Barry Smith as their new manager.
Scot Smith, 42, replaces Gary Naysmith, who left earlier this month to join Queen of the South.
Former Celtic and Dundee defender Smith has also managed Aldershot Town and will take charge of the Fifers when they host Peterhead on Saturday.
The Bayview side are currently eighth in Scottish League One, above the relegation zone on goal difference.
