Mark O'Brien played 35 games for Derby County having come through the club's academy system
Luton Town have loaned defender Mark O'Brien to National League side Southport for a three-month spell.
The 23-year-old returns to Haig Avenue, having played seven games and scoring once for the Sandgrounders at the end of last season.
O'Brien, who began his career with Derby, had a season-long stint at Motherwell in 2014-15.
He then joined Luton last term, making nine appearances for the Hatters but is yet to feature this term.
