Wrexham have signed defender Martin Riley following a season with Tranmere Rovers as he joins the club for the second time.

Riley, 27, played for Wrexham in 2012-13 and helped the club to the FA Trophy as they beat Grimsby Town on penalties.

The defender began his career with hometown club Wolves but did not make a first-team appearance.

He joined Tranmere from Mansfield Town last summer but played just 16 games in an injury-plagued season.
