Bury P-P Barnsley

Bury's League One match against Barnsley has been postponed because of a waterlogged pitch at Gigg Lane.

Heavy rainfall overnight left the playing surface and surrounding areas under heavy water and a 10:00 GMT pitch inspection was called.

No new date has yet been set.

Several other north-west clubs have also had to cancel their Boxing Day fixtures following heavy rain, while the Met Office has issued a weather warning, external for parts of Lancashire.
