Glamorgan women's batter Charlotte Scarborough has announced her retirement from cricket.

Scarborough was part of Glamorgan's newly-formed women's team in 2025 which aims to turn professional by 2027.

Starting her cricket journey at just six-years-old, she represented Wales at every age-group before making her senior debut aged 14.

"I'm incredibly grateful to have been a part of such a special and successful first year for the women's team at the club," said Scarborough.

"Cricket has been a huge part of my life and I'm forever grateful for the friends I've made and the moments I'll cherish forever.

"I'm so excited to see what the team will do this season and wish them every success as they progress into Tier 1."
