
Devon bowled out Cornwall for 264 on the first day of their Minor Counties Championship game at Exeter.
Having won the toss and elected to bat, Cornwall slipped to 45-3 before opener Scott Harvey's 50 led a recovery.
Trevor Anning (3-47) and Josh Bess (3-41) then reduced the visitors to 207-9, but Sam Hockin dominated a last-wicket stand of 57 to finish on 55.
Cornwall made a good start with the ball, leaving the hosts 61-3 in reply at the close, 203 in arrears.
