LV County Championship Division Two, Uxbridge |
Close of play, day two: Gloucestershire 402-7 |
Gloucestershire 5pts, Middlesex 2pts |

Ian Cockbain extended his maiden first-class century to 121 as the weather proved the winner at Uxbridge.
In the 10 overs of play possible on day two, Jon Lewis (41no) helped Cockbain add 34 runs to extend their unbroken eighth wicket stand to 72.
That earned Gloucestershire a fifth batting bonus point.
But a combination of rain and bad light prevented any play in the final two sessions.
CLOSE OF PLAY SUMMARY
BBC Radio London 94.9's Kevin Hand:
"A frustrating day as rain and bad light kept the players off for the most part.
"Gloucestershire's score is starting to look quite useful though, with the addition of 34 runs, and this partnership is becoming more than a nuisance for the hosts.
"Another 50 runs from the visitors and they will feel confident of piling pressure on Middlesex, whose chances of winning have lessened due to the time lost."
