Robinson encouraged by St Mirren 'shoots of recovery'

St Mirren showed signs of recovery in their Scottish Cup win over Livingston, says manager Stephen Robinson, as the Buddies prepare for an instant rematch with their weekend opponents.
The Paisley side travel to West Lothian for the second time in four days after dumping David Martindale's men out of the cup on penalties following a 1-1 draw.
Both clubs face off again in the Scottish Premiership on Tuesday night, and Robinson is looking to improve a recent record of four defeats and a draw in St Mirren's past five league games, which has them 10th in the table.
"You can see the shoots of people recovering their confidence and the shoots of good performances again," the manager told club media.
"We want to take that into Tuesday night and then into Saturday [away to Dundee United]."
Robinson added that St Mirren fans can play a "massive" part in helping turn the club's league season around.
"We need the fans now," he said. "They've been great. They've been with the boys, they've supported the boys, we need it again.
"The narrative can change very quickly. Into the next round of the cup and an opportunity to get three points again on Tuesday night."
