Glamorgan have signed batter Francesca Sweet from Leicestershire Foxes for the 2026 season.
Right-handed batter Sweet played a key role in helping the Foxes reach the 2025 Vitality Blast Finals Day where they were beaten by eventual winners Middlesex.
Glamorgan also lost in the T20 semi-finals at Lord's - in their inaugral season - alongside reaching the Metro Bank One-Day Cup League Two final.
The Welsh county are to become a fully professional Tier 1 side in 2027.
"We're delighted to welcome Cesca to Glamorgan," said Aimee Rees, the county's head of women and girls cricket.
"We're looking forward to supporting her development over the winter and seeing what she can bring to the team in 2026.
"After our strong start in 2025, she will be an excellent addition to the squad, and we're excited to see her take the field with us as we continue working toward Tier 1 cricket in 2027."
