Exeter Chiefs are through to the knock-out stages of this year's European Challenge Cup
Exeter Chiefs head coach Rob Baxter says he wants his side to be a "regular" European Champions Cup team.
The 43-year-old has led Chiefs to the top level of European cup rugby twice, but they failed to qualify this year.
The 2014 LV= Cup winners currently lie fifth in the Premiership table, one point above seventh-placed Harlequins.
"We want to get back into the top-flight European competition. That's very important for us as a club going forwards," Baxter told BBC Radio Devon.

The Chiefs are through to the semi-finals of this year's LV= Cup and the knock-out stages of the European Challenge Cup, but Baxter says a top-six league finish remains their target.
"Being fifth in the Premiership is great but are we where we want to be? After our last couple of Premiership matches, not really," he added.
"The players are still a little frustrated with how they've had a couple of wins slip through their fingers.
"We're ambitious enough to want to be (in the Champions Cup) on a regular basis."
