Jordan Cox: Huddersfield Giants sign Hull KR forward on loan

Huddersfield Giants have signed Hull KR forward Jordan Cox on loan for a month.

Cox, 22, who has not featured for the Robins this season, could make his debut for the Giants against St Helens on Sunday.

The Giants are likely to be without forward Brett Ferres for three months because of an ankle injury he picked up in the defeat by Salford.

"I got a call asking if I'd be interested and I took it with both hands," he told BBC Radio Leeds.

"I was expecting to get loaned to a side in the Championship so it's great to be at a big side like Huddersfield.

"It's only for a month at the minute but if it works out well then you don't know what it could lead to."
