Championship side London Broncos have appointed Andrew Henderson as their new head coach.
The former Castleford and Sheffield Eagles hooker, 35, had been in caretaker charge since Joey Grima stood down earlier this month.
"The role has come earlier than expected. It's a fantastic opportunity for me," he told the club website., external
"My job now is to improve the confidence and belief of the current players within the squad."
Henderson, who joined the Broncos in November following their relegation from Super League, will be assisted by Danny Ward.
Former Great Britain head coach Brian Noble had declared an interest in joining the coaching structure at The Hive.
"Part of my vision is to continue the development of London-based players and build the future around our kids," Henderson, a former Scotland international, added.
"We need to earn the right to be back in Super League and build the club accordingly."
Broncos have won two and lost three of their five league games so far this season.
