Frankie Dettori wins on Christophermarlowe at Epsom

The unbeaten Christophermarlowe made it three wins from three with victory in the Investec Derby Trial at Epsom.

The John Gosden-trained colt, ridden by Frankie Dettori, is an entry for the Investec Derby on 6 June.

The 4-6 favourite won the £50,000 race by four lengths, ahead of Future Empire and Sharp Sailor.

"He's only had three runs in his life and he is a very good-looking horse. I see no reason why he should not run in the Investec Derby," said Gosden.

"I see him as a big boy with lots of improvement so there is no reason why he won't be back here on the first Saturday in June."
