Port Vale came from behind to beat National League South side Maidenhead in their FA Cup first-round replay.
The hosts, who secured a 1-1 draw in stoppage time at Vale Park, went ahead when Alan Massey netted on the rebound.
But the League One side were level when Michael O'Connor headed in Sam Foley's cross.
AJ Leitch-Smith scored from close range to put Vale ahead and then ensured a second-round trip to Exeter when he pounced on Foley's header across goal.
Maidenhead made the better start and Richard Duffy cleared a Ben Wright effort off the line, before Massey reacted first on the edge of the box to drill the hosts ahead.
Vale equalised when Foley's cross was headed past Carl Pentney by O'Connor for his second goal of the season.
Leitch-Smith scored his second goal in as many games as poked the ball past Pentney from close range and then netted his first brace in Vale colours when he finished off a good move involving Foley, Louis Dodds and Adam Yates.
