Arjen Robben scored his 13th of the season in the Bundesliga
Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich warmed up for their midweek Champions League tie at Shakhtar Donetsk with a stunning 8-0 victory over Hamburg.
The win means the defending champions maintained their eight-point lead at the top of the table over Wolfsburg, who beat Bayer Leverkusen 5-4.
Germany pair Mario Gotze and Thomas Muller, and Dutchman Arjen Robben, all scored twice for Bayern.
Robert Lewandowski and Franck Ribery grabbed the other goals.
Muller's second goal and Robben's first were the pick of the bunch - both curling long-range strikes that gave keeper Jaroslav Drobny no chance.
Elsewhere, Wolfsburg survived a second-half fightback by Leverkusen to come out top in a nine-goal thriller thanks to four-goal hero Bas Dost's 90th-minute strike.
The visitors led 3-0 at half-time and 4-1 but a hat-trick by Korean Heung-Min Son and Karim Bellarabi goal saw the home side level.
Leverkusen also had Bosnian centre-back Emir Spahic sent off for two bookable offences late in the game.
The win moves Wolfsburg on to 44 points after 20 games, with Bayern out in front on 52 with 16 games remaining.
