Bob Harris scored his first goal for Sheffield United as they beat 10-man Bradford City in their Yorkshire derby.

City were reduced to 10 men 20 seconds into the second half after Stephen Darby received a second yellow card for pulling back Jamie Murphy.

Left-back Harris put the Blades ahead with a first-time shot from 20 yards which nestled in the top right corner.

And Marc McNulty ran through and scored the second after City defender Andrew Davies was embarrassed by a bobble.

Bradford were unlucky not to score when Alan Sheehan's ferocious free-kick from the edge of the area was superbly saved by Mark Howard.

The home side also hit the post through Jason Kennedy's thumping header while Mark Yeates's curling shot glanced off the bar late on.
