Forte started his career at Sheffield United
Notts County have signed Southampton striker Jonathan Forte on loan until the end of the season.
Forte joined the Saints last January, external but has only started five games since then and has been on loan with League One side Preston North End this season.
The 25-year-old previously spent time on loan with Notts from November 2008, external, scoring eight goals in 18 games.
Barbados international Forte, who began his career at Sheffield United, also has England honours at youth level.
