Kay went on City's pre-season tour of the United States last summer
Macclesfield Town have signed former Manchester City reserve team player Scott Kay on a one-year deal.
The 22-year-old, who began his career as a trainee at City, has featured regularly in their reserve team.
Kay was on the bench for the 1-1 Europa League draw with Italian giants Juventus in December 2010.
The holding midfielder broke into City's under-18s team at the age of 16 and was part of the 2008 FA Youth Cup winning side.
