The site of the former 'eggbox' council building has been transformed - and the new Winter Garden has now been unveiled.

The garden contains 150 different species of plants, and 2,500 plants in total. The Winter Garden forms the last public part of the "Heart of the City" project, which also includes the Peace Gardens and the Millennium Galleries. Sheffielder Michael Palin said of the garden, "The Winter Garden is absolutely beautiful. The scale of it is very powerful." There's a coffee shop and a gift shop as part of the complex, and the garden connects with the Millennium Galleries, too!
