They were ugly but when we saw them from the motorway, we knew we were home. My question is, what are they going to do with the land? This would be a good opportunity to build something useful and still be a picturesque landmark. Not another grocery store, but something like a clock tower? The people of Sheffield SHOULD have a say in this decision and not leave it to the idiots at city hall!

when ever i followed the blades round the country,seeing the towers meant id got home safe again.i will miss them.

When I used to travel up to Morley from down south, I knew I was nearly there when I saw the towers. They will be sadly missed. Better if Meadowhall was demolished.
