How to get to Robin Hood Airport

Whether you travel by car, train or bus, find all the information you need on how to get to Robin Hood Airport...

By car

North/South via A1:

Leave the A1(M) at J34 (Blyth), at the roundabout take the A614 heading towards Bawtry. Head north towards Doncaster.

Approximately 3.5 miles after leaving Bawtry, turn right into Hurst Lane, signposted to Auckley.

Proceed along Hurst Lane for approx. 1.5 miles until crossroads; turn right.

Robin Hood Airport is situated approx. ¾ mile on the right hand side.

From the West via M62:

M62 eastbound towards Hull.

Turn off the M62 at J35 and follow the M18 southbound.

Leave the M18 at J5 and head eastbound on the M180 leaving almost immediately at J1.

Right turn at roundabout, towards A614 signposted to Bawtry.

Follow the signposts for the A614 and Bawtry.

Blaxton roundabout, turn right, pass Walkers Nursery/Garden Centre on the left. Take the next left on to Gatehouse Lane.

Follow Gatehouse Lane to roundabout, then turn right at roundabout.

The entrance to Robin Hood Airport is on the left hand side.

From the East via M180/M18:

When travelling from the east follow the M180 to the end.

At the roundabout, take the right hand lane. Follow all the way around; coming back on yourself, now heading eastbound on the M180.

As you rejoin the M180 heading back towards Scunthorpe, take the very first exit (J1).

Right turn at roundabout, towards A614 signposted to Bawtry.

Follow the signposts for the A614 and Bawtry.

Blaxton roundabout, turn right, pass Walkers Nursery/Garden Centre on the left. Take the next left on to Gatehouse Lane.

Follow Gatehouse Lane to roundabout, then turn right at roundabout.

The entrance to Robin Hood Airport is on the left hand side

By train

The nearest station is Doncaster (7 miles), which is a major station on the East Coast Main Line.

An Airport Arrow shuttle service links Doncaster Station with Robin Hood Airport. This hourly services takes 25 minutes and runs daily.
