All 21 accredited Drama Colleges took part in 2004. Radio Drama was delighted to announce that the winners for 2004 were:

• Alex Tregear (Webber Douglas)
• Emily Wachter (Rose Bruford)
• Robert Hastie (RADA)
• Stuart McLoughlin (Royal Welsh College of Speech and Drama)

The four runners-up finalists were:

• Amy Brown (RADA)
• Miranda Colchester (RADA)
• Laura Elphinstone (Guildhall School of Music and Drama)
• Grant O’Rourke (Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama)

Alex, Emily, Robert and Stuart joined the BBC Radio Drama Company on 28th August 2004.
