Speaking on BBC Somerset Sound, Martin told Elise Rayner: "I've not played in Somerset for a long time - I'm really looking forward to it.
"Obviously when I get up on stage with ABC, we have to perform the Look of Love, Poison Arrow and All of My Heart, but it's nice to sprinkle a couple of new songs in there.
"Our job is to entertain."
Martin also talks about his friendly rivalry with Tony Hadley from Spandau Ballet.
