Sacred SomersetYou are in: Somerset > Faith > Sacred Somerset > Sacred Somerset ![]() Wells Cathedral Sacred SomersetSacred Somerset is a new section on bbc.co.uk/somerset, which gives you the chance to praise the virtues of your church, chapel, or other place of worship. Somerset is full of beautiful religious buildings, some of which are of particular significance. For example, TS Elliot's ashes are buried in St Michael's Church in East Coker, St Beuno's Church in Culbone is the smallest complete parish church in England, and the war poet Siegfried Sassoon is buried at St Andrew's Church in Mells. But it doesn't matter whether you practise your religion at Bath Abbey, Wells Cathedral, or the Goddess Temple in Glastonbury; if you think your church, chapel, temple, or any other holy place, is worth letting people know about, then we want to hear from you. All you need to do is fill in our form at the bottom of this page with details about your place of worship, and we'll give it its own page on Sacred Somerset. We need to include pictures of the place of worship too, so make sure you send us some photos (preferably as high-resolution JPEGs) to:
Alternatively, you can use good old snail mail and send your pics to this address: Sacred Somerset Please note that if you're taking photos of the interior of your place of worship, make sure you ask permission. last updated: 18/12/2007 at 15:06 SEE ALSOYou are in: Somerset > Faith > Sacred Somerset > Sacred Somerset |
