Kylie Minogue cancels her Glastonbury set

Kylie Minogue's record company has confirmed that she has had to pull out of her headlining set at this year's Glastonbury Festival, after she was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Shortly after the news broke on Tuesday 17 May, Emily Eavis, the co-organiser of the Glastonbury Festival, told BBC Radio Bristol: "It's really sad news for Kylie. We will spend the day thinking out other potential headliners."

"I was so looking forward to bringing the Showgirl tour to Australia and to Glastonbury and I'm sorry to have to disappoint my fans."
