Managed by the same agency as Judge Jules (Serious), and Rebekah, who played at Housework's Hallowe'en Ball, The Trophy Twins are Adam Ramsden and Mark Foster. They're recognised on an international level, having played shows in South Africa, Spain, Finland and Ibiza, and being residents for KissdaFunk at Mission, and Judgement Sundays in Ibiza. Nationally, they're regulars at clubs like Pacha, Godskithcen, Red Room Sessions, Garlands, Rise, Sugar Shack, Dusted, Pin Up, Cross, Escape, Play and Eye Candy. Praise from the Judge | | Housework residents, Marcus and Matt Thorne |
No strangers at major events too, the Trophy Twins have performed at Creamfields 2004 (Radio 1 Outdoor stage), Gatecrasher Summer Sound System, Radio 1's Secret Party in Ibiza, Escape in the Park, MTV's Aquasonic Festival in Ibiza, and more recently on the main stage at Radio 1's One Big Weekend at Perry Park in Birmingham. As well as all of that, they've been busy in the studio. Anarchism was their debut release, and since then they've remixed I Can't Take This by Disciples of Sound, and they've mixed one disc on Goodgreefs debut album. On the air waves, they've performed a live mix for Radio 1's Ibiza weekend and have been regular guests on the Galaxy network. Judge Jules himself has even called them "the biggest rising DJ stars of the last twelve months". Praise indeed! The Front Room and Kitchen | | Adam Ramsden and Mark Foster are The Trophy Twins |
Residents Marcus and Matt Thorne (Bobkat) will also be doing their usual in the front room. It's a big weekend for them, as they're also on the decks at Metripolis at Moles in Bath the following night, Saturday 5 February. Weston-super-Mare's Ralph Mignano from Spin Central will be in the Front Room too. With a love for the hard stuff, he's been involved with Clockwork Orange (London), $afe House (Bristol), Keep It Dirty (Bristol and London), Debauchery (Henley) and Slinky (Bridgwater). Nick Fisher will be giving it some bongo action as well. It's check your breakz in the kitchen, courtesy of James Gliddon, Ollie Stamp, 2 Veg and Oz. There'll be stunning visuals from Mr North, and if that's not enough the first 100 people to arrive will receive a free CD mixed by Bobkat. |
