Marc was born in Devon and has been DJing since the age of 18. Now, aged 26, he's really taking the club scene by storm with his dirty house music...

"
I get a high out of holding the clubbers back with tracks and then letting them go. It gets wild and is great
"
Marc Vedo

In the summer of 2003, Marc played to 50,000 people in Istanbul, saw the new year in with a club party on a beach in Mombasa and played to thousands of clubbers in Frankfurt.

This year he will be touring across the globe with the likes of Boy George, Lisa Lashes, Judge Jules and Dido.

On DJing

Marc said: "It all started when I was 18. I played at Heaven in London and just loved the vibe. I then moved to Bristol and used to trek across the city with my DJ tapes.

"It was really hard work finding a slot but I finally got a residency at Club Leo's which was my springboard in to the industry.

"Since then it has just got better and better.

"I will be touring around the UK in March and then I'm heading to Canada to tour with Boy George. We should be taking in Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal and Quebec which should be great.

"I'll then be off to Africa to tour in Nairobi and then to Serbia to play to about 8,000 people with the Chemical Brothers."

Marc says it isn't all about partying and he works long hours into the night to perfect his sets.

He said: "I spend hours experimenting at home. I like the music to make sense and for this you really have to put time in and practice.

"You can always adjust the set when you get to the club but when you have only two hours to set the mood, you've got to make it work.

"I get a high out of holding the clubbers back with tracks and then letting them go. It gets wild and is great. I just love what I do."

Eligible Bachelor

Marc has been voted in the top 50 most Eligible Bachelors by Company Magazine and was a centrefold in The Sun's Top Ten Most Eligible Men.

He said: "It was all a bit bizarre. I went to Company Magazine's party bash, met up with Kelly Brook and the next thing I know is that she is calling me the most eligible bachelor in the UK.

"I wasn't page three in The Sun but was featured in the centre of the paper."

The Future

Marc said: "I want to do this for the rest of my life. I don't ever want to stop doing what I do.

"I'm currently working on a CD at the moment so watch this space..."
