Career "I went to drama school in London when I was 18 and worked in a chocolate shop before landing my first job working for Theatre in Education Tours. "This was a great experience and gave me the chance to tour Italy. "Then, I did a couple of other musicals until 1994 when I became the Boddingtons girl. Casting producers saw the advert and presumed I was from the North which in turn landed me the role of receptionist Dawn Budge in Peak Practice in 1998." Sarah's never looked back. After leaving the show in 1999, She's been a regular in The Vice, Hearts and Bones and Cutting It. Her recent credits also include the drama short Table 12 and Sirens with Daniela Nardini, Greg Wise, and Murder's Robert Glenister. Cutting It Sarah said: "I can cut hair but not very well. We usually use use wigs to be on the safe side. The current series ends next week with a serious cutting hair showdown. Wigs were vital for this scene. "In the future I'm interested in doing a TV series in America, something meaty, like the political drama The West Wing which is superb. I would like to work out there but not necessarily live there. "The thing I love about my job is the fact that you are meeting new people all the time and every day is different. I never know what scenes are going to be like or how things are going to work out." |
