A campaign has been initiated by the National Bhikku Front calling for the release of General Sarath Fonseka. The Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) and supporters of General Sarath Fonseka have joined the fast launched by the monks opposite the Fort Railway Station. Four Buddhist priests and two laymen who have already begun the fast said that they would continue their fast until the release of Gen. Sarath Fonseka. Rev.
