Nepal welcomes SL President
Nepal PM, Pushpa Kamal Dahal (Prachanda)
President Rajapaksa is to meet PM Prachanda and other leaders in Nepal
The Sri Lankan President, Mahinda Rajapaksa has arrived in the Nepalese capital, Kathmandu, for a three day official visit.

Mr Rajapakse is the first foreign head of state to visit the country since the election of the Maoist government which abolished Nepal's long-standing monarchy last year.

The Sri Lankan leader is expected to visit Buddhist shrines and hold talks with the Nepali Prime Minister, Pushpa Kamal Dahal on trade, investment, tourism, agriculture and aviation.
