Two more blindfolded killings
Two bodies have been recovered off the coast in Welihena,Halawatha.

The victims have been identified as Sundarawadivale and K.Selvendran , both from the village of Udappuwa close to Halawatha.

Speaking to correspondent, Prasad Purnimal Jayamanna, a resident of Welihena said that he heard gun shots around 7.30 pm on Friday.

Residents had seen a van moving away from the crime scene.

Both victims were blindfolded and shot at close range.

So far no arrests have been made.

The Sri Lankan government is under heavy pressure from human right organizations and the international community over alleged abductions and killings.
