The three jounalists accused by government of allegedly helping Tamil tigers were produced before the magistrate courts on Wednesday after a month. Lalith Seneviratne, a journalist , Sisira Priyankara, a member of the United Railway Workers Union and the news editor of the union's journal, Akuna, and Nihal Senasinghe were arrested on February 5. Lawyers Thilak Wijesinghe along with Mahinda Jayawardena who appeared for them said that the Terrorist Investigation Deaprtment has requested Magistrate Sarojini Kusala Weerawardhana to send the suspects to Bussa Camp. Lawyer Wijesinghe said that they agreed to this request as there is no permanent place where they are held under custody. "This is a camp and we have no objection to it", he said.
