Norwegian International affairs minister Erik Solheim announced the parties had agreed to hold next round of talks in April. The talks about the ceasefire will be from 19th to 21st of April. In the meantime, both parties have agreed to ensure that there would not be intimidation, abductions or killings. The government had agreed to stop armed paramailitary groups from operating. The government agreed that no one but security forces would be allowed to carry arms in government-controlled areas Erik Solheim thanked both parties for their commitment for the talks. He said the talks happened with good humour and friendly atmosphere. "The talks were hard, tough, realistic but were above his expectatons" said Erik Solheim. the parties had agreed to safeguard the welfare of the children, including prevention of abduction and recruitment of children as soldiers. Erik Solheim also thanked the parties for making the events a success.
