The JVP is happy that the LTTE is willing to sit at the negations table but the government should be cautious, warned party leader Somawansa Amarasingha. He said the LTTE has not only violated the CFA but also used it to strengthen its position. “Any reasonable person would agree that the LTTE has brutally violated all the conditions of the CFA” said Amarasingha He further added that ‘Mahinda Chithanaya’ should be the basis of any talks with the LTTE Mahinda Chintanaya is the election manifesto of President Rajapaksha that the JVP supported during the presidiential election..
