No one should be allowed to disrupt peace talks says the foreign minister Mangala Samaraweera. Speaking to the media in Colombo the foreign minister said that he urges the LTTE not to allow any party to disrupt peace talks as they have been able to arrive at an initial agreement with much difficulty. “The LTTE has been flexible in deciding on the venue and I am hopeful that as talks proceed they will show more flexibility in order to restore peace and democracy” said Samarawera. The Foreign minister said that he is hopeful that talks would start by the end of February in Geneva. Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva has been named to lead the government delegation. When Sandeshaya contacted minister de Silva he said that the others to the delegation are yet to be named. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
