People's Liberation Organization of Tamil Eelam (PLOT) supporters held demonstrations for the release of the Vavuniya area leader Sinnathamby Ganeshalingum who has been abducted. Ganeshalingum was abducted on Monday. Dinasena Rathugamage reporting from Vavuniya says that protesters who blamed the Tamil Tigers for the abduction insisted that the truce monitors intervene immediately. Jonni Suninan, representing truce monitors in Vavuniya said “I am not in a position to tell who is behind the abduction” S.
