| Sehar (Ayesha), is an absent minded dubbing animation artist. At a disco one Saturday night, two guys spike her drink. Loosing all senses, she wanders aimlessly on the Delhi streets, meeting various characters on the way. She sleeps right through Sunday waking up only to find something is amiss as strangers chase her from all directions. These include Ballu the taxi driver, struggling actor Kumar and a group of drug dealers who are out to kill her. Onto the scene enters Inspector Rajvir (Ajay) but as his investigation intensifies, a murder is committed with all evidence pointing to Sehar in this comedy thriller. Director Rohit Shetty's tale of murder-mystery revolving around slapstick humour, stunts and romance proves an engrossing watch. Shetty successfully pieces together the jigsaw of the missing Sunday as the film unwinds, revealing the whole picture at the very end when the murderer is exposed. The highlight of the film includes the song sequence 'Kashmakash' which is splendidly performed by Esha Deol whilst 'Manzar' imaginatively captures Tusshar Kapoor's dance steps. Lead star Ajay Devgan continues to do what he does best and that's emoting Rajvir's feelings through his eyes. Ayesha Takia plays the cute innocent Sehar. But it is the Irffan/Arshad combo who are a real treat to watch as they bring the house down with their brilliant one-liners. On the whole Sunday is a cleverly directed comedy thriller which will appeal to regular cinemagoer. Go watch it, you won't be disappointed!
