Mallika Sherawat is known for her cameo roles in films like Guru, Aap Ka Surroor and Welcome which all released in 2007.

But that's all about to change for this actress who is set to have three major releases this year.

Maan Gaye Mughal-E-Azam will see Mallika in a lead role starring with Rahul Bose (of Pyar Ke Side Effects fame), Paresh Rawal and Kay Kay Menon

She will also be seen in the film, Ugly And Pagli, predicted to be the biggest Bollywood comedy this year. She will be paired opposite actor Ranvir Shorey who was last seen in Pyar Ke Side Effects.

During the latter part of the year, Mallika will also be seen in Dasavatharam (meaning ten incarnations).

With three big projects in the bag, 2008 may just be the year when Bollywood beckons for Mallika!
