Eros announces acquisition of film Robot

After the grand success of Shivaji, Tamil film industry's most popular superstar Rajnikanth and director Shankar are coming together once again in the film, Robot.

A movie to be made on a grand scale, Robot will be produced in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and other languages.

Director, Shankar, commented, "It's very exciting to be working with talents like Rajnikanth and A.R. Rahman. With Ayngaran and Eros International's global distribution, Robot has the potential of becoming this year's biggest release in the UK cinemas."

Rajnikanth commented, "Shankar briefed me on the screenplay which is unique as no one has come across the same idea before. I am very happy to be working on this film project with talents like Shankar and A.R. Rahman, and renowned media companies like Ayngaran and Eros International, who can offer this film the platform it so rightly deserves."

K KarunaMoorthy (CEO of Ayngaran) commented, "After the grand success of Billa, we are all geared up for Robot now."

He continues, "It's a pleasure working again with the magical team of Shivaji and we are positive that Robot will break all box office records."
