Director Sudhir Mishra's Khoya Khoya Chand which opens in the UK cinemas this Friday 7 December 2007, is said to be inspired on the life of the film maker Guru Dutt. | Shiney and Soha in Khoya Khoya Chand |
Starring Shiney Ahuja and Soha Ali Khan, Khoya Khoya Chand is set in the Hindi film industry of the 1950s. It showcases a volatile relationship between a writer and an actress. Prakash Jha, the producer of the film, expects it to do well at the UK box office. With past achievements like Apaharan , Gangaajal and Mrityudand which did very well in the UK cinemas, there is no reason why Khoya Khoay Chand shouldn't be in the same league. Already, producer Jha is busy with his next project, titled Rajniti, based on India's political system. Ajay Devgan and Nana Patekar are said to be playing the lead roles in this film although the female lead is yet to be confirmed. More updates to follow on Jha's new project.
