With numerous blockbusters to his credit, Vikram has carefully carved a niche for himself in the Tamil film industry. Movie which gave him star status and accolade include Sethu, Dhill, Kasi, Dhool, Saamy, Gemini, Pithamagan and Anniyan. He won the National Film Awards of India for his performance in Pithamagan (2003). Music director Harris Jayaraj has composed the score for this film whose shooting took place in Switzerland, New Zealand and the famous Thirumalai Naicker Mahal in Madurai. Director Linguswamy is known for his interesting screenplay and thrilling storyline and makes Bheema a treat for Tamil movie fans.
