"After her perfume reached the number one slot on the UK perfume charts, Shilpa was thinking about what her next step should be. She wanted to do something she had not ventured into before, when she hit upon the idea of producing her DVD video herself," informed her spokesperson Dale Bhagwagar. "Production is a new challenge for her but knowing her determination, combined with her experience in cinema, it shouldn't be too much of a task," he added. The DVD will be shot in Kerala and will be directed by Manish Jha (of the 'Matrabhoomi' and 'Anwar' fame) while Arghya Lahiri is writing the script and the camerawork will be handled by Jamie Sowlds (from the UK). Shilpa has been a regular practitioner of yoga, but is now getting intensive training from yoga trainers Shiv Kumar Mishra and Vinayak Dixit for a month now, making sure she perfects the asans to be shot for the video. When asked if the production house also plans to make feature films in future, Bhagwagar said, "It's premature to comment on that but it could be a possibility. As of now, the production house is focusing on the video".
Shilpa will also be seen very soon in a musical titled Miss Bollywood. Premiering with shows in Germany by the end of this year, the musical will travel to the UK and later to America and Australia. Other ventures in the pipeline include the role of Sita in Uru Patel's international film venture Hanuman. With so much schedule, Shilpa Shetty is likely to remain in the media spotlight media glare for most of the year - not only in Bollywood but also in Hollywood!
