| This romance focuses on rock star HR (Himesh), who falls in love with event manager Riaa (Hansika) during a German tour. Event partner Ruby (Mallika) completes the love triangle but her affection is not reciprocated by HR. Troubles ensue when HR is falsely implicated in a murder and is put behind bars. Convinced that HR is guilty, Riaa's father arranges her marriage to someone else. HR is now faced with no alternative but to break out of jail in order to find the real culprit before his girlfriend is forced into an arranged marriage. But will he succeed? We may have seen it all before in Hindi films but director Prashant Chadha gives this love triangle a stylish look with swift-paced action sequences against the beautiful backdrop of German locales. Aap Ka Surroor is your typical Bollywood masala flick, consisting of the right doses of romance, music, drama and action sequences. The movie's high points are the songs, prominently placed within the narrative to keep you engrossed throughout. Himesh, may be one of Bollywood's popular music composers but his acting ability has some way to go. Considering this is his debut film, it is quite natural for Himesh to look tense on screen when reciting his dialogues but fans will be engaged regardless and he will, of course, improve with experience. Gorgeous Hansika Motwani not only has the characteristics of a Bollywood actress but also appears confident in front of the camera. And Mallika is a real stunner in the Mehbooba dance number!
