Shah Rukh Khan 's forthcoming film, Chak De India, will premiere in London on 9 August 2007. Directed by Shimit Amin, the film sees Shah Rukh playing an aged hockey coach who trains a team of young highly spirited girls in an effort to win the world cup. Shah Rukh and Vidya Malvade are amongst the stars attending the premiere along with producer Aditya Chopra. The film's premiere will coincide with 'India Now', a three month season starting on 17 July 2007 celebrating Indian culture and values in the UK. Chak De India revolves around a coach who gets a chance to reclaim his lost honour whilst training a team of young feisty girls with the determination of winning the hockey world cup.
