Aishwarya's Last Legion will see DVD release |
Aishwarya Rai's Hollywood project, titled The Last Legion, directed by Doug Lefler may not see a cinema release in the UK after all. Also starring big names like Ben Kingsley and Colin Firth, the film is reported to have a limited release in America whilst the UK and India will see a DVD release only around 24 August 2007.
By Hollywood standards, The Last Legion is a small budget film which will require massive marketing investments if it saw a cinema release. The Last Legion is set against the background of the fall of Rome in 476 AD and has Aishwarya Rai playing a Byzantine warrior.
