The musical score of the movie is a departure from Mr Darshan's hugely successful partnership with music directors Nadeem and Sharvan. "When Suneel Darshan approached me with the concept for Shakalaka Boom Boom's music, his brief was simple. He wanted me to produce my best movie soundtrack yet," says Himmesh, "I feel the music for Shakalaka Boom Boom does exactly that and I am very proud of what has been achieved with Sameer's lyrics and Shan's vocals", continues Himmesh. Suneel Darshan and Himmesh Reshammiya believe that UK Bollywood fans deserve better and they have striven to produce music and visuals that will appeal to all ages and tastes to British Asians. The distributors of the film based in London, Tip Top Entertainment, have also been raving about the composition from Himesh Reshammiya. Sukhwant Randhawa from Tip Top entertainment says:"it is rare when a movie promoter can orchestrate a movie's promotional campaign around such wonderful music". He continues:"The musical score is bound to set new standards for Bollywood music to come. This is going to be a real treat for music lovers". Shakalaka Boom Boom is set to release in cinemas on 6th April 2007. What's more, this blockbuster is all set to catapult Bobby Deol and Upen Patel onto the international spotlight.
